Writing Is a Way of Talking Without Being Interrupted

Alright guys. I'm not sure how terribly exciting this will be for you, but I'm expanding on my 2010 year. I think I might going through the entire year at 2 months per post. So this would be 2 of 6. That's not terrible. If you're that uninterested, you can just pass these up. Most of the things in here are directly related to what happened in my life this year, but some of the quotes are stories I really do believe are worth reading.

So here it is: Sometimes I Miss My 17 Year Old Self: Part 2 (March-April)
Here is Part one if you missed it.

We walked to Desloge to have breakfast at McDonalds. As we sat down to eat our McGriddles, neither of us spoke until out of nowhere he piped up "I wonder if you can overdose on orange juice" and I began laughing uncontrollably for about ten minutes. This was followed by the conversation that you can overdose from pretty well anything. Too much oxygen can kill you. Too much water and you can get water poisoning.

"I believe you should live each day as if it is your last, which is why I don't have any clean laundry, because come on, who wants to wash clothes on the last day of their life?"

In my RAP class, we did things that were supposed to "help out the human soul." On this day, we did a particular exercise relating to how different people changed in the same difficult situation and which kind of person we wanted to be. A carrot, an Egg, and a Coffee bean were put into boiling water. The carrot went in strong and hard, but came out soft and defeated. The egg went in fine and came out identical on the service, but hard and stiff on the inside. The coffee bean, however, made the best of the water and changed it into coffee. It made the change instead of allowing the boiling water (the difficult challenge in life) to defeat it.

Today, Charles and I were walking up Main Street headed to work. An elderly man hurried up to us as though he had something very important to say. These are the words that came out of his mouth when he looked at Charles "You have got a special lady here. You better keep her. She really is special." The fellow then turned to me and said "I haven't seen a lady wear a dress in a long time. You are beautiful."

"What you do with your life is only one half of the equation. More importantly, it's who you're with when you're doing it"

At this moment, there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth.
some are evil men that war with good and some are good men struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world. 6 Billion souls and sometimes, all you need is one.

This is the tattoo on my leg. This is the text that inspired that tattoo.

Bee: Oh,Charles. I absolutely despise storms.
Big C: Sorry, dear. I almost want to go out there and witness it myself. :\ Just try and shut your eyes and think of something that makes you comfortable. The storm will pass, they always do.

I wonder how many umbrellas the average person buys throughout their lifetime.
