2013 at last.

I swear this is my last post about the new year. I just want to talk about how great my New Years Eve was. I didn't go out drinking or do any of those fancy things I had planned, but it was amazing.

It is officially the new year.

so goodbye 2012, hello 2013.

First of all, I want to share with you the New Years Resolutions of a few animals.

I had a really great New Years Eve. I spent it with Lance's family. It was just wonderful. We watched the New Years Eve Countdowns. We watched the ball drop (an hour early, stupid new york!). Shortly before midnight, we all drank champagne and toasted to the new year.

Then we went outside and watched the fireworks.

I got to kiss my favorite fella when the new year came.

The New Year didn't start how I expected, but it was absolutely perfect. I've got a great fella. I have a great family of my own and a great second family (Lance's). I have an apartment. I have love, life, and all those great things people hope for. This year is off to a great start and I hope it will only get better from here.

I expect to have many new experiences, plenty of adventures and heartaches. I expect to see things I probably never wanted to see and learn all sorts of things I never thought I'd know. I look forward to the first day of 2014 and thinking "wow, what a crazy year." This is the first day of it.

Also, today I will start my happy notebook and the jar I posted about earlier. It's going to be a good year, guys.
