Officially Under My Goal Weight

In my first fitness blog post I mentioned that I was trying to get down to 140 by the float trip at the end of June. Well folks, the float trip is next Friday and today I woke up to the lovely number on the scale of 139.2 lbs. I am officially under my goal weight by this day! I use this website called medhelp by logging my weight on it every time I get a new low. This is my chart right now. The light green line is where I should be on this day and the dots and yellow line show where I am. The orange line....is MY GOAL. Do you see that line? Do you see how I am officially under it? I am so excited!

Also, I want you to take a brief moment to look at this and see that my BMI is normal meaning that I am officially no longer considered overweight. Again, this fact I am completely thrilled about.

I've come a long way since April and my clothes keep reminding me. When we first started this, I was 165 lbs (despite what the above picture says) and I have managed to lose a total of 25.8 lbs. Clothes that used to be pretty stinkin' tight on me are started to look like pajama shirts. There's is one huge downside to all this weight loss because 1.) I'm too damn broke to buy clothes that fit and 2. clothes that used to flatter me very well now just look large and bummy on me. I'm not complaining too much though because weight gone is weight gone and I seriously feel extremely accomplished.

My next project is to find some old full body photos of me from when I really started getting close to 155 and take pictures in the clothes I was wearing at the time to see how they fit now. The only down side to this plan is I avoided full body pictures like the plague because I didn't care for how it looked.

I did find these though, so at least I have two worth using.

So here in the next couple of days I will take photos in these shirts to show how they fit on me now. As for today, I'm signing off. It's been a good day. My hair dye came in, so my hair shall be awesome colors tonight and I'm on my way to getting down to 130.
